It would be considered an asset if the candidate had:
- Related experience with scheduling/dispatching service technicians
- Experience working in the electrical utility field
- Experience using SAP Business One and/or SAP Field Service Management software
The duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
- Creation/set up of new projects
- Management and maintenance of dispatch board (Field Service Management software)
- Regular use/upkeep of SAP Business One ERP software
- Coordination with customers & project managers to schedule projects
- Coordination of power outage isolations with BC Hydro & other utilities
- Management of crew schedules (including vacation, training, rest time, etc.)
- Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors
- Travel arrangements & bookings
- Regular support to our project management group
- Preparing customer quotations
- Cross training with office administrator
- General office duties
- Organize and lead weekly scheduling meetings with project managers
The successful candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
This role reports to the Administrative Manager but also takes direction from/works closely with the entire management team.
