DB Power Solutions seeks a talented and highly motivated individual with EPC scheduling experience in the utility-scale solar and renewables industry to join its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction management team as a scheduler. This role provides the opportunity to participate in the development, acquisition, and management of renewable energy assets in an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment.
You’ll be tasked with leading DB Power Solutions scheduling function, including developing and maintaining project schedules for DB Power Solutions utility-scale renewables portfolio (solar, BESS, and wind). You’ll coordinate with estimators, project managers, procurement team members, and other key stakeholders to align and optimize the overall project schedule. Responsibilities will also include ensuring that schedules adhere to contracted milestones, review and negotiate schedules with EPC’s, help consult on schedule related issues for projects already in construction, and leverage / develop ways to implement AI tools into DB Power Solutions scheduling platforms. Finally, you’ll collaborate across internal teams to align scheduling with commercial and physical strategies.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in the industry, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in utility-scale scheduling is required.
- Deep technical knowledge of Primarivera, Microsoft Projects, and other scheduling related tools.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with complex milestone structures and dynamic schedule constraints.
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to engage cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and external counterparties are essential.
- Hands-on experience with scheduling software tools used in the industry will be critical for success in this role.
- Strong organizational skills and a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset as well as leadership or mentoring capabilities are required.
- Combination of in-office and remote work.
- General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
