Brightworks Energy is looking for full time, self-motivated, dependable Sales Manager to join their team.
We are a full-service solar energy provider. We focus on custom applications for homes, farms& commercial buildings, cottages & off-grid systems. An exciting opportunity in a rapidly growing industry.
- Maintain, develop & expand our customer base
- Generate and connect with prospective customers via internet, door-to-door & phone-response communication
- Travel to and attend tradeshows
- Attend Customer Zoom Meetings to Advance/Close Sale
- Educate and inform prospective clients with a focus on meeting their wants & needs
- Perform full site assessment including measurement of roof and recording site related data
- Create detailed written proposals that define client needs
- Present in-home proposals that detail the benefits of solar and the services of our company
- Diligently follow up on inquiries, leads and prospective customers
- Help develop and then maintain weekly/monthly sales targets
- Develop /modify sales strategies with senior staff, implement and monitor
- Work with installation staff through satisfactory project completion
- Generate additional revenue through networking and referrals
- Attend company and departmental meetings as directed
- Participate in ongoing training, development and certifications
- Communicating and sharing best practices
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the position

- Post-secondary diploma/degree
- Previous in-home sales experience is preferred
- Previous solar sales experience
- “Hands-on” construction experience (ideally installing solar systems)
