We’re hiring a
Sales Engineer (Territory Sales Manager)to lead growth across
Southern Minnesota. This is an independent, high-impact sales role for someone who understands
metal fabrication technology and capital equipment sales.You’ll develop new business, manage existing customers, and guide projects from first conversation through installation. Earning Potential: $65,000 – $150,000+ (base + uncapped commission)

metal fabrication equipment, automation systems, or related manufacturing technology— and know the language of fabricators and machine shops.
✅ You’re self-driven and like managing your own territory — you don’t wait for leads; you create them.
✅ You enjoy problem-solving and helping customers find the right equipment to meet their production goals.
✅ You’re comfortable talking shop with everyone from operators to owners and can back it up with technical understanding.

🚫 Someone without experience in
metal fabrication or capital equipment sales— this isn’t a “learn on the job” position; you’ll need industry experience to succeed.
🚫 Someone who prefers selling transactional or short-cycle products — this is consultative, relationship-based selling.
🚫 Someone uncomfortable with travel, independent work, or visiting fabrication shops and customer facilities regularly.

- Grow sales across your assigned territory through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from discovery and quoting to closing and handoff.
- Maintain strong partnerships with customers and equipment manufacturers.
- Represent On Point Solutions and our partner brands with professionalism and integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in
metal fabrication equipment, capital machinery, or industrial technology
.
- Proven success managing a territory and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Technical understanding of laser cutting, press brakes, or automation equipment preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
