Position Overview:

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll connect with homeowners, share the financial and environmental benefits of solar, and guide them through a simple sales process. With flexible schedules, uncapped commissions, and the chance to make a real impact, this is an opportunity to grow your career while helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and engage potential customers by generating leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, and participation in industry events.

Clearly communicate the financial and environmental advantages of solar energy, while guiding clients through available incentives, tax credits, and rebates.

Present personalized solar proposals that address client needs, expertly handle questions or concerns, and negotiate favorable terms to close contracts.

Work closely with the sales team to not only meet but exceed both individual and team sales targets, sharing innovative strategies and best practices.

Build strong, long-term client relationships by offering outstanding customer service throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred; relevant sales experience will also be considered.

Proven track record in sales, ideally in solar, renewable energy, or related industries.

Knowledge of solar products, systems, and current trends in the renewable energy sector.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage, educate, and influence potential customers.

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for site visits, meetings, and customer engagements.
