Responsibilities: As a sales account manager for Zephyr Wind Services, you will be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers. This position is key to identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The successful candidate will spend time remotely, on-site at Zephyr facilities, and traveling to meet customers as required.
· Identify and establish contact with potential customers through cold calling, emails, personal visits or other methods.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
· Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
· Negotiate sales contracts and secure favorable terms.
· Develop internal systems to understand sales metrics and to drive additional profitability.
· Forecast sales and develop sales strategies and effective sales models.
· Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
· Generate and submit sales reports to management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
· Analytical skills to be able to provide valuable business information to other managers.
· Knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft applications, and ERP systems.
· Knowledge and understanding of wind turbine generator, drive train, gearbox and blade systems and related equipment supporting each division in their product and service development.
· At least 5 years’ experience in wind part sales and forecasting.
· Proven experience as a sales leader in the wind energy industry.
