Job Title: Safety Technician FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Safety Manager
Position Overview:
The Safety Technician role is crucial for ensuring a safe and compliant construction site by monitoring daily operations in line with OSHA standards. This position requires a proactive approach to safety, making continuous improvements and addressing potential hazards on the job site.

- Lead daily safety meetings to ensure team awareness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and safety records in accordance with established guidelines.
- Analyze incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies to implement improvements for a safer work environment.
- Identify and correct any safety hazards or violations promptly.
- Provide safety guidance and advice to the administrative team regarding safety issues and compliance for various projects.
- Conduct safety training for employees, covering policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Demonstrates professionalism that aligns with company culture.
- Follows all safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Uses equipment only for its intended purpose, preventing misuse or damage.
- Consistently works in a safe manner, avoiding shortcuts that increase risks.
- Maintains and ensures access to emergency supplies and personal protective equipment.
- Able to read and understand basic instructions and effectively communicate with team members.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a construction setting, primarily outdoors and in remote locations. The role requires physical stamina to perform tasks across the job site, with occasional travel.

- Certifications: OSHA 510 certification is required. Additional certifications are a plus.
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must be able to independently carry out all duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
