Become a Safety Quality Senior Advisor on the Safety Management System (SMS) team at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll be responsible for developing quality assurance and quality control checks for implemented safety mitigations. This position will execute quality assurance testing plans with recommended sampling and inspection standards, and will facilitate risk discussions with leaders and project teams to identify hazards and operational controls. As a Safety Quality Senior Advisor, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. This role is responsible for assigning QA/QC checking, tracking results, and working with project teams to make adjustments to the original risk and risk scores. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement, leading learning event teams and completing learning event summaries. This position will monitor progress on key aspects of QA/QC, analyze and think critically while completing evaluations and data review, including accuracy and consistency, and manage files and documentation in a structured format.
