Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a healthy work environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of occupational health standards, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about learning and contributing to our safety culture. They will demonstrate integrity and dedication when supporting all internal & external customers. This position will play an important role in the day-to-day operations and will work closely with the other safety team members, field supervisors and management. Tasks are computer-intensive, and it will be necessary to possess strong computer skills, must execute work efficiently with strong attention to detail. Relevant duties will include but are not limited to
- Maintaining third-party websites such as ISNetword. PEC/ Veraforce, IScout
- Maintain KPA
- Completing incident reports and tracking safety statistics
- Assist with annual insurance renewals, upload to corresponding customer site to maintain compliance
- Insurance claims administration
- Drug & Alcohol program administration
- Organizing and filing employee records, incident reports, and vehicle inspections
- Safety Manual maintenance
- Safety onboardings for new employees
- Provide safety resources to fellow workers
- Support colleagues, field supervisors, management in safety needs
- Request purchase orders for safety supplies
- Order safety supplies
- Assist with organizing safety trainings
- Request Permits
- Utilize office appliances such as photocopiers, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Assist in various tasks as requested by team members and management
- 4 years degree or equivalent work experience in occupational safety or a related field.
- 3+ years of directly related EHS experience- Proficiency in using Outlook (E-mail), attaching files, forwarding, corresponding timely in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Ability to learn new online operating systems required to perform the tasks associated with the job
- Possess excellent organizational skills and must be self-motivated
- Duties associated with this position are subject to change, candidates need to be adaptable and willing to accomplish additional tasks should they arise
