Rotating Floorman - White Bear Lake, MN

We anticipate the need for one or more Rotating Floorman to be located at our White Bear Lake Service Center in White Bear Lake, MN. The rate of pay for this position is $28.59 hour (2025 rate). This position will be posted for 10 working days from December 12, 2025, to December 29, 2025.

Summary

We are looking for a hard-working Floorman to join the Xcel Energy team in White Bear Lake, MN. In this position, you will perform general vehicle and power-operated equipment basic maintenance. Responsibilities include: unloading, washing, lubrication, parking, outdoor refueling, tire repair, general shop cleanup, parts running, driving large trucks with trailers, and operating power equipment, including other shop-related functions as directed by management. This position will typically work Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm.

Successful applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and meet the following criteria:

- A minimum of two years of experience working in vehicle fleets, automotive or truck-related environments, or a Vo-Tech certificate in a mechanical-related field.

- Applicants must meet driver qualification requirements as specified in FMCSR parts 382 and 391 including the possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) or obtain within 6 months of employment.

- Ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs routinely, perform basic mathematics and read/write the English language.

- Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
