Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Division Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our Receiving, Order Entry and Shipping. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding managing people.
Responsibilities
•Assists the company in developing goals and objectives.
•Supervise daily operations within the division to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and customer requirements are met.
•Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
•Directs the division in a manner that promotes high morale, teamwork, pride, productivity and quality.
•Provides leadership, training, instruction, direction and assistance to division staff.
•Ensures that job performance problems and conflicts are resolved fairly in accordance with the Company’s Employee Handbook and Company Policy.
•Accurately and promptly completes all paperwork associated with the position (corrective actions, process reports, quality reports, employee evaluations, etc.)
•Designated as the primary quality representative for the division.
•Meets or exceeds productivity and quality standards using all resources and support available.
•Ensures that all Spec orders are recognized, staged, processed and entered to run in accordance to the standard.
•Designated as the primary liaison with all other divisions/departments for communicating, coordinating and monitoring any workflows and/or resolving problems that occur between them.
•Initiates actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformances relating to product, processes & systems.
•Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.
•Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and provides an ongoing awareness and environment of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.
•Advises and/or notifies the Vice President of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the company, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
•Performs Receiving, order entry & Receiving and other related tasks, as needed.
Shipping*: ensures that all products are identified, accounted for, finished & released with all necessary paper work.
Shipping:* ensures that the customer order is properly handled, packaged, preserved and made ready for shipping.
Shipping:* ensures that the order is shipped to the customer’s designated destination in accordance with their authorized means of transportation.
Order Entry*: ensures that all necessary customer information has been identified and transferred onto the Shop Traveler and that the Shop Traveler is matched with the corresponding order.
Receiving*: ensures that the order is protected, identified with all necessary information and stage in accordance to company procedures and customer requirements.
Experience
•Experience in Shipping, Receiving and order entry preferred.
•Experience in managing and evaluating employee’s performance.
•Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Attention to detail & Problem-solving abilities.
•Experience in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Working Conditions: Office and factory environment, may encounter dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
•Considerable amount of walking.
•Sitting at a desk for extended period of time.
•Required to wear safety shoes.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
