Roll Off Truck Driver

Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Roll Off Driver to join our team. As a Roll Off driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to transport and deliver large containers for waste removal.

Duties

- Safely operate and maneuver a heavy commercial truck

- Transport and deliver roll-off containers to various locations

- Secure containers properly on the truck

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the truck

- Follow all safety regulations and company policies

Skills

- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record

- Ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles safely

- Experience in operating at Roll-Off truck

-Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

- Attention to detail in securing containers

- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus

-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

-Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton, ON L9T 3N7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- commercial driving (heavy truck): 3 years (required)

- Roll off truck: 1 year (required)

Language:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class D Licence or higher (required)
