Role Overview
The Inside Rig Sales Representative is a vital member of the sales team, responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling rig equipment and services to customers. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Rig Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Prospects for latest sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
- Provides product pricing and understands the current market demands.
- Ensures timely shipment or delivery of materials and customer satisfaction by collaborating with operations and logistics.
- Contributes to add-on sales by maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
- Handles customer inquiries and problem resolution when needed.
- Performs estimating, take-off, and proposal duties, as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required and assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales; 2 or more years of customer service experience.- Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
- Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 or other distribution ERP.
- Prior drilling rig experience and product knowledge required.
- Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
