Winston Technology Center's repair operations provide over 60% of global turbine components annually. As head of Repair Operations, you will lead 180 staff—including manufacturing engineers and shop floor personnel—using advanced equipment to refurbish and upgrade turbine components. Your leadership is vital to operational performance and supporting our expanding energy demands.
- Prioritize Safety and Quality: Maintain strict safety practices and operational procedures to prevent workplace incidents.
- Oversee Manufacturing Operations: You will supervise daily operations, monitor production targets, and implement strategies to improve processes.
- Manage Budgets and Inventory: Oversee budgets and ensure all required parts and supplies are available for stationary production.
- Manage Customer Relationships: You will use a customer-focused approach to identify and address challenges, aiming for outcomes that benefit both parties and support effective partnerships.
- Motivate and Inspire: You will mentor and support your team to build skills and foster a positive work environment.
- 10 or more years of related work experience in advance alloy repairs including managerial/supervisory capacity. Candidates with more experience can be considered at a higher level.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent work-related experience demonstrating product competence and knowledge
- A solid understanding of machining, welding, assembly processes, and rotating equipment technology.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of technical professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Strong communication skills to motivate your team and build customer confidence, along with a grasp of business financials and continuous improvement methodologies.
- This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position

Winston Technology Center in Rural Hall, North Carolina, is a modern, 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on 249 acres campus employing approximately 400 staff.
