Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 with outstanding commission plan and monthly auto allowance

We’re looking for someone who thrives on making connections, solving problems, and getting results. As a Rental Accounts Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of helping our customers find the right power generation and distribution solutions. You’ll build relationships, manage accounts, and deliver top-notch service to a wide range of clients — from electrical contractors and municipalities to event producers and property managers.
This is a role for someone who’s not afraid to pick up the phone, walk a job site, and roll up their sleeves to make sure every project runs smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Business Development & Sales
•Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers
•Create and deliver proposals that are accurate, timely, and tailored to customer needs
•Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project delivery
•Keep an ear to the ground for new business opportunities and industry intel
•Conduct site visits and be the go-to contact for incoming rental inquiries
•Hit — and exceed — targets for revenue, margins, and utilization
•Actively maintain customer data and updates in CRM tools
•Attend industry events and association functions to grow your network
Estimating & Project Planning
•Regularly visit project sites to gain a hands-on understanding of each project's unique needs, challenges, and logistical considerations.
•Review and interpret technical specifications, then translate those proposals that align with customer requirements and position us to win new business.
•Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain accurate, up-to-date pricing, lead times, and technical details.
•Maintain detailed records and documentation of all project opportunities, ensuring every lead is tracked, followed up on, and managed with precision from start to finish.
•Oversee the full delivery process to confirm that final solutions meet internal standards and fully satisfy customer expectations and project goals.
•Foster clear, ongoing communication with internal teams across departments.
•Generate timely, insightful reports and forecasts that provide leadership with the data and visibility needed to support strategic business planning and resource allocation.
What We’re Looking For:
•Must have full professional French speaking and writing proficiency
•Must be able to travel within the Montreal region
•3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a technical or industrial setting
•Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when necessary, with availability for occasional travel and on-call support during emergencies
•Thrives in both office and field environments, moving seamlessly from job sites to client meetings
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
•Mechanical or electrical knowledge is a strong asset
•Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
•A proactive approach and strong follow-through plus solid communication and organization skills
•Physical demands: some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required
