Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will work to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This individual will be responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring our offerings remain competitive and innovative.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in sales with experience in cold calling and is motivated to build new relationships. Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee sales activities in Eastern Canada, including Ontario, and contribute to our mission of promoting circular economy principles and energy-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively engage with existing and prospective customers within the assigned region to promote company products and services, including IBC Totes and Drums that support the circular economy and energy efficiency.

- Build and expand our customer base through proactive cold calling and a relentless drive to succeed.

- Track sales activities, customer interactions, and communicate articulate sales cycle updates to management monthly, including forecasts and performance metrics.

- Follow up on quotes, proposals, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer conferences to promote brand visibility and generate leads.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support.

- Oversee territories in Eastern Canada, including Ontario.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

- Proven experience driving new opportunities.

- New business development.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional presence.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

- High motivation and self-starter mindset, with high energy to succeed and a results-oriented approach to achieving ambitious goals.

- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience in a relevant industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- In-depth understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in sustainable or eco-friendly product sales, particularly in the circular economy space.

- Familiarity with industries such as Agriculture, Chemicals, Detergents, Energy, or Liquid Manufacturing.

- Bilingual (English/French) skills an asset for Eastern Canada market coverage.

Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience ($70,000 - $100,000 CAD, depending on qualifications), with an attractive incentive bonus package based on reachable monthly targets.

- Uncapped commission structure with a bonus based on success: Target 20-30% of base salary in performance bonuses tied to revenue growth, new customer acquisitions, and territory targets in key sectors like Agriculture, Chemical Industries, Detergent manufacturers, Energy companies, and Liquid Manufacturing.

- Vehicle or mileage reimbursement for regional travel negotiated.

- Remote work flexibility with occasional travel to trade shows and client sites.
