- Develop and maintain relationships with our key corporate clients
- Promote and position the organization toward major projects opportunities
- Supervise client relationship development
- Promote BBA’s full range of multidisciplinary services, from advisory and environmental work to preliminary studies, detailed design, technical support and full commissioning of new and existing assets
- Drive and develop business development activities and sales results in Québec
- Track and pursue significant opportunities to position BBA favourably
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partners across all levels of their organizations
- Actively identify and assess opportunities where BBA can deliver solutions
Develop strategies that support annual sales plans, including cross selling existing services to expand our client base across market segments
- Support a work-sharing model with BBA offices across Canada
- Lead, supervise and coordinate the work of client account managers
- Support and participate in the MSA approval process
- Coach and guide BBA’s client account managers
- Develop and support Sales and Business Development processes:
- Strategic plan
- Annual sales plan
- Marketing plan
- Client account plans
- Proposal process
- Risk management
- Stewardship and performance management
- Pipeline management
- CRM and ERP development and use

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technology diploma or significant relevant experience
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- At least 10 years of experience selling professional services
- Experience negotiating and developing master service agreements
- Experience in consulting or construction
- Strong interest in and ability to build a team
- Ability to work closely with clients, employees and project teams
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to manage major and complex accounts
- Demonstrated technical and business leadership
- Ability to communicate complex and technical information clearly
- Excellent spoken and communication skills
- Proficiency in managing relationships with colleagues and clients
- Asset: previous sales management experience selling professional or consulting services
- Asset: master’s degree in business and administration (MBA)
