Position Overview:
Northern PWR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Installation Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our solar installation teams. This leadership role will ensure that projects are completed on time, safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and team development in your region.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
•Lead and manage multiple installation crews across the Winnipeg region.
•Train, mentor, and develop team leads and installers to ensure skill growth and job satisfaction.
•Act as the main point of contact between field crews and corporate leadership.
Project Oversight:
•Ensure installations are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet company quality standards.
•Coordinate with the scheduling team to optimize crew utilization and minimize downtime.
•Resolve on-site challenges promptly and efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
•Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OHS, Alberta, and Canadian regulations.
•Conduct regular site audits to ensure adherence to Northern PWR’s safety and quality standards.
Operational Excellence:
•Monitor crew productivity and identify opportunities for process improvements.
•Collaborate with the Director of Field Operations to align regional goals with corporate objectives.
•Maintain communication with the sales and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Fleet and Equipment Management:
•Oversee the maintenance and allocation of installation vehicles and equipment within your region.
Qualifications:
Experience:
•5+ years of experience in solar, construction, or a related field.
•2+ years in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Skills:
•Proven leadership and team management abilities.
•Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software.
Education:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction management or a related field is an asset.
Certifications:
•Valid driver’s license (required).
•Fall protection and other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
