SUMMARY
The Regional Accounts Manager reports to the VP, Sales & Marketing, with a focus on business development, marketing, and customer relations in the fracking services and shale operations within the assigned territory.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
including but without limiting the following:
•Identify, manage, and land sales opportunities in order to meet sales objectives and target goals
•Develop and execute annual sales plans
•Actively implement sales strategies and provide continuous improvements to existing customers
•Meet with customers and potential customers at their offices, facilities, or field sites
•Investigate to determine customer needs, provide effective solutions
•Prepare and deliver presentations on product and services, proposals, quotes and business development plans
•Collaborate with Operations, troubleshooting and providing service solutions to ensure exceptional customer service
•Explore advertising and marketing opportunities
•Participate and/or attend relevant industry trade shows and conferences
•Maintain contacts and status of existing customers and potential customers using SalesForce
•Prepare reports for sales, marketing, and expense tracking
•Compliance with quality and safety management requirements
ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL
:
•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
•Minimum 5-8 years of business development/sales experience, preferably within the oil & gas industry
•Existing customer base in Completions a plus
•Always professional and approachable
•Must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build positive relationships with engineers, procurement, and the field personnel
•Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with a team
•Capable of working in an unsupervised environment; proactive; does not wait for instruction
•Ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule
•Experience in lead generation
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
•Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally about 25%, must have valid passport
