As an Account Manager, you are responsible for driving Babcock & Wilcox sales and achieving sales targets. The primary focus of this role is to build solid customer relationships and drive sales growth for the Southeastern US including accounts in NC, SC, and GA. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a safety focus with a clean driving record, and demonstrate a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Duties
This position is to support a US region performing equipment and service sales. The position supports product lines, field engineering service, and repair, maintenance and union construction services work. General duties include:
- Develop a technical understanding and application of B&W technologies in customer processes
- Effectively communicate B&W’s diverse products and services driving opportunity development.
- Use data analytics and marketing to produce a successful targeted sales campaign
- Contribute towards and execute the territory plan
- Actively engage customers, including site visits, inspection of equipment and recommend parts and services
- Develop, prepare and submit inspection reports and support and contribute towards proposal development
- Ensure timely delivery of orders, and address customer complaints
- Grow the business within the region
- 8-10 years of direct sales experience. Preference would be given to those who sell in this market at present but is not essential. Familiarity of pulp and paper mills, general industry, oil and gas facilities and utility plants would be an asset.

- Prefer candidates to be from a Southeastern US state that are willing to actively manage and develop sales in a clearly defined region. Individual may work remotely. Regardless of location, frequent travel throughout all the SE region is required.
