Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Department: Shipping

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Shift: Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm (Training Schedule will vary.)

Job Summary: Bingham & Taylor is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team in Culpeper. Main duties will include verifying and maintaining records on incoming shipments, receiving items, and delivering to the appropriate department. All duties are to be performed within safety, quality, and production standards. Fluency in English is required for this position, as effective communication is essential for successful job performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming merchandise or material.

· Deliver items.

· Store items.

· Order materials, supplies, or equipment.

· Safely move product load around the facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

· Weigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data on tags or labels.

· Ability to be cross-trained to perform Shipping PIT Operator and Shipping Clerk positions.

Qualifications:

· Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Valid PIT license is required.

· Knowledge of basic Office applications to include email and business enterprise systems.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Physical Requirements: This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.
