The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for professionally packaging product shipments and assisting coordination with Production Leads and Scheduler to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.

· Maintain and improve upon standard operating procedures for the Shipping Department.
· Prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for product shipments.
· Assemble outgoing orders and professionally package for shipment.
· Create shipping documentation including bills of lading, shipping labels, and export paperwork.
· Maintain shipping material inventory levels and organization.
· Maintain shipment files, issue reports and respond to customer inquiries/issues regarding shipments.
· Route outgoing shipments through various freight forwarders and schedule transportation.
· Contact customers to set up deliveries and coordinate shipments.
· Maintain high quality standards (professional packaging, wrapping, etc.), organization and safety standards.
· Previous experience with inventory control/stockroom/shipping in a manufacturing environment (preferred, not required).
· Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
· Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
· Basic math skills and knowledge of proper packaging methods, common material handling equipment, and various online shipping systems (UPS, Fed/Ex).
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional customer service and above average written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality and accurate shipments.
· Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with variable noise levels.
· Regular business hours with occasional overtime during high volume periods
