About the Opportunity

This is an open position with Potomac Edison, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [PE]

This Readiness Coordinator position conducts short-range planning and scheduling operational processes, analyzes results, and pre-inspects jobs to ensure overall job readiness, as well as identifying and minimizing safety exposures in the field.

This position is located on site at the Martinsburg Service Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Responsibilities include:

+ Identifying and applying safe work practices and adhering to applicable sections regarding motor vehicle safety. + Utilizing applicable critical control checklists to identify exposures ensuring safe work execution and job site safety for self and others. + Supporting storm restoration efforts, including the ability to be MOP trained. + Identifying and mitigating safety exposures for self, employees, and the public.
