Position Overview
•Under limited supervision responsible for ensuring efficient coordination of work between operations, maintenance, and work control functions. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Functional:
•Coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and readiness activities ensuring maximum safety and optimization milestones
•Plans utilization of space and facilities for organization consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds
•Plans, directs and manages all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification and building projects from establishment of design concepts through design and implementation
•Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, budgets and schedules
•Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope
•Coordinates the work of departmental employees assigned to the project
•Assists in the development of operating procedures, training, materials and emergency preparedness plans and procedures to support the testing, startup and continued operations of the conversion facility
•Communicates maintenance coordination needs in plant meetings
•Acts as primary contact for facilities, equipment and machinery maintenance, and project activities
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements: (Must meet DOE O 426.2 minimum requirements)
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
