Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist all APQP (Advanced product quality planning) activities for new products/processes and revised products/processes.

- Oversight on all inspection activities

- Maintain accurate QPL information

- Oversight of the Quality Department

- Internal and external customer interface on quality issues.

- Assist quality inspectors in all Customer (Internal and External) related corrective action activities to ensure timely and effective closure.

- Oversight and prepare FAI (First Article inspection Records) as needed to meet customer requirements

- Active leadership in LEAN and other process improvement projects internally and in conjunction with the customers.

- Maintain company quality standards

- Perform and develop methods for Layout Inspection.

- Perform Training on inspection techniques as needed in QA and production department.

- Maintain gage calibration system

- Follow company policies, company safety policies and practice safe work habits.

- Conduct primary DQR (Designated Quality Representative) activities and oversight of alternate DQR's

- Work MRB and Scrap Box

- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

- Proficient in precision measuring tools and gages.

- Five years experience in manufacturing quality assurance

- Five years experience in a supervisory role

- Excellent analytical ability and problem solving.

- Excellent knowledge of statistical process control tools.

- Excellent knowledge of G.D. &T, layout techniques, calibration and blue print reading.

- Good communication skills and presentation skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational skills.

- Excellent computer skills to include Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- FAI TO AS9100

- Final Inspection of Product.

- Prior self release program experience

Physical Requirements:

- Standing and walking up to 40% of work time.

- Bend and lift up to fifty pounds without assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
