Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring high standards of quality in our products. They will check parts as they are produced throughout its production cycle. They will also receive and quality control all inbound raw material and enter it into our databases.

Duties:

- Conduct inspections and quality control procedures on products

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement

- Collaborate with your supervisor to maintain quality protocols

- Receive raw materials both physically, digitally, and using our QC protocols

Qualifications:

- Experience with quality control processes and procedures

- Strong analytical skills to interpret data accurately

- Familiarity with QA/QC practices and standards

- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments effectively (tape measures, tolerances, calipers, and micrometers)

- Familiarity with steel and general metal products

- Computer skills (word, data entry)

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Proven leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of fabricating techniques for testing purposes

- Experience in utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments

- ISO / ASTM / strong understanding of tolerances

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards by performing precise inspections, audits, and analysis. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to excellence and compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and ISO 9001.

Duties

- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.

- Perform detailed quality audits across manufacturing processes to verify adherence to ISO 13485, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other relevant standards.

- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and compliance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Assist in maintaining quality management systems by updating documentation, recording inspection results, and supporting internal and external audits.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with FDA regulations and ISO standards.

- Support calibration activities for precision measuring instruments to ensure measurement accuracy during inspections.

- Participate in root cause analysis for non-conformances and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP is highly desirable.

- Hands-on experience operating calibration tools like calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and coordinate measuring machines.

- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.

- Knowledge of quality systems management including conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.

- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to document findings clearly.

- Prior exposure to manufacturing processes involving precision measurement instruments is a plus. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
