Quality Control Technician

K-FAB Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Berwick PA !

$3.00 / hour shift differential for 2nd shift!!

Summary of Job responsibilities

A Quality Control Technician will perform any or all the following tasks

Responsibilities include:

- Perform CMM Manual, visual and weld inspections.

- Ensure that all Quality procedures are being adhered to adequately, focusing on quality inspection and conforming material.

- Provide support to operators and production leads regarding quality concerns.

- Assist with reworking or sorting of materials.

- Contribute to general quality team tasks such as maintaining quality items, 6s and posting quality documentation.

- Manipulate small objects, such as measuring devices on a routine basis.

- Perform equipment calibrations using calipers, gauges, and micrometers

- Accept or reject finished products based on whether they meet quality standards.

Requirements:

- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings

- Excellent attendance, attitude, and communication skills are critical!

- Manual dexterity.

- Collaboration within the quality team and communicated findings to cross-functional teams.

- Use a computer, keyboard, and mouse on a regular basis.

- Excel experience preferred

- Ability to follow inspection procedure

- Knowledge of gauges and test equipment

- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to work overtime when needed

- Hexagon CMM knowledge is preferred

Physical environment/working conditions:

The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.

Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
