· To assure quality-of-work at the League City Fabrication Facility on all fabricated piping, vessels, and structural steel according to and with full compliance to the design criteria, contractual requirements, the Quality Control Manual, and the regulations set forth by ASME and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels
· This position has full authority to contact the President of the company to resolve issues involving their authority to enforce code, design, contractual, or quality requirements
· Coordinate jurisdictional inspections/audits with Authorized Inspection agencies, ASME, the National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
· Document welding, NDE, hydrostatic tests, MTRs, etc., per code, client, and company standards
· Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance
· Ensure company standards as outline in the Quality Control Manual is implemented and followed
· Ensure and document calibration of measurement and testing equipment
· Oversee and review non-destructive Examination (NDE), hydrostatic testing, radiography, etc., of piping and vessels per code, client, and company standards
· Perform audits and preparation of corporate Quality standards
· Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) to ensure code compliance and accept or reject received materials
· Knowledge of ASME Sections II, V, VIII (Div 1), and IX
· Knowledge of pipeline cathodic protection inspection and use of the required test equipment and interpretation of the data as necessary
· Proficiency in the use of measuring devices, ultrasonic thickness equipment, alloy analyzers, radiographic film interpretation, and performance of liquid penetrant and magnetic particle inspection methods
· Proficiency in various inspection methods, including but not limited to: NDT, chemical analysis, radiography, etc.
· 5 years of Petrochemical Plant Quality Assurance/Control experience in a maintenance environment
· Experience establishing and managing on stream mechanical integrity programs to assure compliance to Process Safety Management is desired
