Bridge Brothers is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (Dimensional) to ensure accuracy and precision in our steel fabrication processes. This role is highly physical and hands-on — responsible for reading drawings, measuring components, and verifying that every part of a bridge is fabricated to specification. The ideal candidate will have fabrication experience, strong measurement skills, and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Perform dimensional inspections on fabricated steel bridge components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and shop prints to verify accuracy.
- Use precision measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, protractors, squares, etc.) to check trusses, assemblies, and components.
- Identify and report dimensional defects, deviations, or missing parts.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to correct quality issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback to management and fabrication leads.
- Uphold safety and quality standards throughout all inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience in steel fabrication, assembly, or QC inspection.- Strong ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools for dimensional inspection.
- Fabrication background required; welding experience preferred.
- Energetic, hands-on, and comfortable with physical, shop-floor work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. EST (some weekends as needed)
- Overtime: Available as required
