We are looking for responsible Quality Control Inspectors to perform first article, in-process and final inspections of complex tight tolerance precision parts. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail, will be reliable, and committed to this position. An in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards and measuring is essential as you will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

Job Responsibilities (Daily operations include, but are not limited to:)
- Create CMM programs for automated inspections.
- Interpret CMM results and convey to machine operators and discuss findings for optimal improvement.
- Maintain, edit, and troubleshoot existing programs as needed.
- Ensure that First Article Inspections (FAI’s) are performed in a timely manner throughout the day
- Ensure that in-process SPC inspections are consistently completed on-time
- In-process inspections must be done in a thorough manner and in accordance with the guidelines set for each part
- Ensure that inspection equipment and gauges at each work-station are correct and properly calibrated
- Inspect materials, products, and equipment
- Create inspection reports and analyze in-process inspection data for the purposes of continual improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; perform other duties as assigned.
- 2 year technical degree is preferred
- Must be able to read blueprints symbols and measurement procedures. (GD&T proficient)
- Proficient in working with common mechanical measurement tools and devices (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauge blocks, optical comparative, video ram, CMM, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Possess excellent written and verbal skills
- Have at least 1 year of experience in inspection of precision parts
- Have at least 1 year of GD&T experience.
- Some lifting of light to heavy weight materials up to 60 lbs.
- Some bending and stooping, pushing and pulling, standing and using hazardous chemicals
- Frequent standing
- Occasional climbing, reaching, upper body and arm rotation.
