Location: Oakville, Ontario (office base) Work Region: Southern Ontario (client sites)
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support nuclear projects across multiple clients in Southern Ontario. This is a customer-facing specialist role focused on executing QA activities, supporting fabrication and site teams, and driving documentation and closeout to completion.
This role requires frequent travel, and candidates should be comfortable working on-site at customer locations for extended periods.
- Execute QA activities across multiple customer projects and sites
- Act as a customer-facing representative, coordinating directly with client QA, engineering, and project teams
- Independently plan, prioritize, and complete assigned QA scope
- Complete and support Manufacturing History Dockets (MHDs) and turnover packages
- Drive document closeout, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and related records
- Review fabrication and inspection documentation for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality and documentation gaps
- Support development and execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs/MITPs)
- Ensure quality records are complete, accurate, and traceable
- Degree or diploma in engineering, technology, or related field
- 3–10+ years of QA experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries- Working knowledge of CSA N299 series, NQA-1, ASME, or similar codes and standards
- Experience with fabrication QA and document control processes
- Proven experience with MHD / turnover package preparation and closeout
- Familiarity with NCR management and resolution
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
- Self-directed and able to manage workload independently
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working in both office and site-based environments
- Able to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
