We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as a critical guardian of product integrity, performing hands-on inspections, driving compliance with engineering specifications, and surfacing risks before they become problems. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams, ensuring that everything leaving our facility meets the standard our customers expect.

- Perform random critical parts inspections to verify compliance with engineering specifications and fit, form, and function requirements
- Conduct regular process and QMS audits: identifying gaps, documenting them clearly, and driving issues to resolution
- Complete final inspections of instruments as required before products reach the customer
- Log and report nonconformances for parts, processes, and finished products to the appropriate stakeholders
- Identify supplier-related risk early, document findings thoroughly, and follow through to corrective action
- Proactively escalate risks that may impact production output, product quality, or delivery timelines
- Recommend improvements in quality procedures, component selection, and manufacturing processes
- Champion quality improvement projects and contribute actively to a culture of continuous improvement
- Support cross-functional initiatives and additional quality projects as business needs evolve
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a quality-related role, with emphasis on auditing, inspection, or quality systems- Familiarity with electronic assemblies including wiring harnesses and PCBAs
- Ability to interpret schematics and work instructions in the context of fit, form, and function
- Understanding of test and calibration outputs and their relationship to product compliance
- IPC-610 and IPC-620 certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and SolidWorks
