Job Summary
This position serves as the primary support for the ERCOT Market Training organization by tracking proposed Protocol changes to highlight impacts to training material. In addition, this position is responsible for managing training schedules, keeping the website posting of upcoming training current and managing classes in the learning management system.

•Acts as a resource to advise, and may at times a lead the work of lower level professional and/or support employees. Generally represents the department on projects and may perform in a project leadership role.
Additional Job Duties
•Track Market changes and identifies impact to ERCOT training material
•Identifies opportunities and contributes to the design and delivery of market education training to market participants
•Develops and shares expertise in ERCOT Market Training offerings
•Demonstrates ability in collaborative problem solving by managing multiple individual schedules and training requirements
•Assists market participants in registering for ERCOT Market Training classes
•Manages inbound queries from ERCOT Market Participants about training
•Assists with projects and process improvements, as necessary, to improve Market Training offerings
•Assists in the creation and maintenance of documentation, procedures, and training materials
•Coordinates the drafting and sending of regular Market Notices of upcoming training to ensue Market Participants are informed of current offerings
•Maintains and expands knowledge of ERCOT market protocols, ERCOT’s operations and business functions as an effective liaison between ERCOT and market participants and ERCOT training opportunities
•Applies ERCOT protocols and business procedures consistently with all market participants under strict confidentiality
Experience
Level 1: No minimum work experience required
Level 2: Requires minimum 2 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
Senior: Requires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
Lead: Requires minimum 8 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
•Requires experience with training and development (level 2, Sr, & Lead)
•Requires technical writing experience (level 2, Sr, & Lead)
•Prefer knowledge of content management systems (all levels)
•Prefer experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (all levels)
•Prefer understanding of stakeholder driven market rules change process (all levels)
•Prefer experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook) (all levels)
EDUCATION
•Bachelor's Degree : Business, Education, or related field (Required)
•or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
WORK LOCATION – Taylor, TX:
•Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
•On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager
•Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.
•Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time
