We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager!
Utilize warehouse, and distribution skills to manage a warehouse, shipping and receiving operation in support of the manufacturing and delivery of metal and plastic building products. You will ensure timely and accurate shipments to Internal and External Customers and Distribution Centers coordinating with corporate transportation, customer service, and 3rd party logistics companies. Drive continuous improvement activities throughout the warehouse, shipping & receiving departments.

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Experience managing a large high-volume operation within a manufacturing environment > 100,000 square feet
- Minimum experience of working three years in large manufacturing facility or warehouse
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Performance metrics experience is an asset
- Minimum: High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience.
- Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Warehouse Management, Logistics or a related field degree is a plus
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and effectively lead and manage people in a fast-paced 5 to 7-day per-week operation
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations pertaining to class 8 trucks and trailers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet software and E-mail is required
- ORACLE or similar experience
- Leadership – Directing, guiding, and organizing warehouse supervisors.
- Overseeing the activities of hourly employees through supervisors.
- Process Management – Coordinating and communicating outbound schedules within your department
- Arrange staffing to support your department's schedules and needs.
- Maintain knowledge of carrier pool to ensure equipment availability.
- Communicate daily and future transportation needs to carriers either directly, or through transportation services.
- Demonstrate an understanding of transportation, warehousing and manufacturing processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize, resolve, and escalate issues identified as potential risks to plant performance.
- Supplier Relationships – Our suppliers are important to our success, utilize your relationship-building skills as you manage our partners who help our logistics operations
- Ensuring accurate load planning and adherence to Regional Shipping plan
- Oversee fleet of Local delivery drivers
- Ensure adherence to DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
- Manage order planning, office (traffic), material handling, receiving, picking, loading and delivery for a multi-site operation.
- Supporting 6S and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Meeting key KPIs of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement, and Cost
