This job requires planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. Logistics managers typically supervise a team of warehouse staff or other logistics specialists. Sometimes they are in charge of a particular region.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately receiving parts and products into the warehouse
Accurately manage inventory in the warehouse by conducting daily cycle counts
Accurately and in a timely manner process orders for delivery/ issuance of parts
Responsible for pre-assembly of kits in the warehouse operations
Responsible for outbound logistics/ shipping delivery to the customer and/or job sites
Maintain warehouse appearance and implement 5S
Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
Partner and communicate with suppliers and customers
Create and manage budgets
Hands-on management: will be highly involved in the day-to-day activities and decisions of the team.
Attend all meetings and conference calls.
Perform consistently with company core values.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Follow all OSHA and other safety guidelines.
Actively demonstrate teamwork at all times.
Adhere to company safety standards at all times, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurs during the prior 12-month period.
Follow other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal r written warnings during the evaluation period.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Excellent organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Understanding of business and management principles
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical requirements include
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs
May require travel
