Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

Seeking Motivated Full-time solar WAREHOUSE MANAGER with at least two years of warehouse and/or comparable hands on education.

Responsibilities

- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

- Receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

- Pick and Prepare materials for each weeks install crews

- Order materials from Suppliers

- Maintain layout and ensure efficient space utilization

- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements

- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

- Manage Vehicle Fleet

- Liaise with Operations, Installers, suppliers and transport companies

- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)

- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Skills

- Proven work experience as a warehouse manager

- Candidates should have a working knowledge of solar.

- Experience managing pre-positioned inventory a plus

- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

- Strong decision making and problem solving skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Forklift license

- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

- Must be able to work individually and in a team environment, with minimal supervision.

- Valid drivers license is required.

- Individuals with less than minimum qualifications WILL NOT be considered.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
