We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing & Spare Parts Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the procurement of spare parts and the efficient management of our warehouse operations. This role is key to ensuring that our production facility has the right materials, at the right time, while maintaining cost control and vendor relationships.
- Manage and execute the purchasing process for spare parts and supplies required by the plant.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper storage, control, and issuance of spare parts.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and reliable deliveries.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships while evaluating supplier performance.
- Implement and monitor warehouse procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to anticipate material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety standards in warehouse operations.
- Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, stock levels, and cost control.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse supervision, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP/MRP experience a plus).
- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead warehouse staff and foster a culture of accountability and safety.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
