PURPOSE:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all phases of warehouse operation including inventory, receiving and/or shipping responsibilities.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages Warehouse functions to:
- Maintain all inventory levels
- Ensure all receiving is processed daily
- Establish material numbers as needed
- Process returns and communicate receiving issues with vendors
- Establish and ensure daily cycle counts are completed
- Communicate with plant personal concerning shipments received
- Ensure all incoming orders are stocked or staged in appropriate locations
- Maintain warehouse bin locations
- Complete all goods issues daily
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Perform warehouse functions safely
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are completed timely
- Create requisitions where needed for warehouse inventory
- Run daily receiving reports for auditing purposes
- Conduct periodic audits of warehouse functions
- Ensure all pick tickets submitted are pulled and staged for maintenance pickup
- Oversee loading and unloading of all warehouse deliveries
- Manage Annual evaluations of non-moving inventory
- Ensure disciplinary, attendance, and performance issues related to direct reports are addressed in a timely and proper manner
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have at least 3 years prior warehouse experience
- Must have 3 years supervisory experience with 1 or more direct reports
- Proficient in SAP
- Knowledge of petrochemical refining materials
- Experience with common nomenclature of material masters
- Experience in hazardous material ship
- Strong safety focus
