Reporting to The Efficiency Network’s (TEN) Senior Vice President of Development, the Proposal & Marketing Assistant supports the Company’s effort to produce winning proposals, compelling presentations, and other marketing materials such as case studies, conference materials, and social media engagement. The Proposal & Marketing Assistant will work collaboratively with TEN’s proposal, sales and technical teams to prepare material that is effective in demonstrating the Company’s capabilities. The successful candidate may work in a hybrid or remote work environment.
- Supports a broad array of marketing activities such as the development and execution of print materials, social media and website content, and event planning.
- Maintains LinkedIn presence with bi-weekly industry relevant posts, and develops website blog materials.
- Coordinates conference planning with sales team lead, including social posts, printing/updating/creating conference specific case studies and materials, and responsible for packing/shipping conference materials as required.
- Assists in the development of proposals through completion and submission.
- With supervision and direction, supports proposal coordinators with content and graphics to respond to RFP/Q, to create sales presentations, and to provide statements of qualifications
- Assists in the development of customized presentation material for sales presentations, interview presentations and internal company meetings
- Assists with forms, documents, data needed for proposals and company certifications
- Supports proposal coordinators by setting up proposal management file structures and proposal frameworks
- Maintains TEN’s Project Reference library, including updating and formatting, validating and correcting data, and customizing when needed to align with proposals under development by proposal coordinators
- Maintains TEN’s Case Study library, including updating and formatting, validating and correcting data, and customizing when needed to align with proposals under development by proposal coordinators
- Maintains the Company’s organizational chart and employee resumes, and customizes when needed to align with proposals under development by proposal coordinators.
- Assists with collection and maintenance of data associated with competitive market activity
- Performs outreach and manage feedback associated with FOIA requests.
- Attend and participate in trade show activities as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure continuously managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and competing deadlines;
- Occasional work required outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines;
- Strong task management and organizational skills;
- Strong editing, writing, proofreading and document formatting skills including a high level of design sensibility and use of graphics capability;
- Exposure to graphic design and utilization of design software;
- Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing;
