Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage teams and timelines while ensuring adherence to safety standards and high quality expectations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

•

Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

•

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.

•

Manage project documentation including schematics, contracts, change orders, and daily reports.

•

Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to address issues promptly and maintain project momentum.

•

Train and mentor junior staff members on best practices in construction management.

Skills

•

Proficient in construction estimating materials.

•

Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.

•

Ability to read and interpret schematics and architectural plans effectively.

•

Must have knowledge of wood framing and concrete construction.

•

Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and conflict resolution.

•

Effective communication skills via phone, email and in person for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
