They are a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day oversight of construction activities on assigned projects. Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on-time with adherence to plans and specifications, are within budget, and meet the highest quality standards while contributing to a safe and productive work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks and personnel.
Responsibilities
•Lead and supervise all aspects of construction activities
•Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control procedures
•Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
•Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, quality control measures and implement strategies to mitigate delays
•Create and submit a variety of reports including daily logs, project photos, progress reports, and safety reports
•Supervise and coordinate the work of trade contractors, ensuring necessary project scheduling, project progress, and resource allocation fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Qualifications
•At least 5 years of commercial construction experience as a foreman or superintendent
•Experience in skilled trades and/or a degree in Construction Management or a related field
•Familiarity with construction code and OSHA regulations
•Willing and able to travel as needed
