Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure successful project execution from start to finish.

Position Summary:

The Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in the delivery of Simile’s construction projects, serving as the on-site authority for all field operations. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Travel up to four hours from our Modesto headquarters may be required depending on project location.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Direct and oversee daily construction site activities and subcontractor performance

•

Maintain and update the project schedule, ensuring timely task completion

•

Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings

•

Prepare and distribute detailed daily reports and weekly field updates

•

Manage equipment logistics including delivery and pickup

•

Schedule and coordinate inspections, testing, and final project walkthroughs

•

Enforce safety standards and lead weekly safety meetings

•

Ensure all RFIs, submittals, and change orders are documented and communicated in coordination with the Project Manager

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction supervision

•

High school diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

•

Strong understanding of construction documents, processes, and trades

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Microsoft Project experience preferred

•

Excellent leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

•

Proven ability to drive performance while fostering a culture of safety and quality
