About This Job

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the successful execution of all assigned construction project activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency from start to finish. This hands-on leadership role manages the awarded project scope, guaranteeing completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Vision Specialties Group is an interior construction company specializing in metal stud framing, batt insulation, drywall hanging, drywall finishing, acoustic ceilings and wall protection.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, including internal crews and subcontractors.

•

Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.

•

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

•

Coordinate and oversee typical scopes such as non-structural demolition, layout, framing, insulation, sheathing/drywall hanging, drywall finishing, wall protection, and acoustic ceilings.

•

Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns.

•

Maintain thorough documentation of daily site activities, progress, and incidents.

•

Foster clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and vendors.

•

Collaborate with office personnel to communicate material, labor, equipment, and change order requirements.

Qualifications:

•

Proven experience supervising multiple commercial construction projects.

•

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with diverse groups.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

•

Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

•

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

•

OSHA certification or similar safety training.

•

Experience in managing budgets and scheduling.

•

Familiarity with project management software or tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
