Job Description: The Woodland Construction’s (“WC”) Project Superintendent (“employee” or “PS”) role is to supervise and manage the field construction of projects, including organizing, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete work on time, within budget, and to the quality specified.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
•Managing multiple projects at once.
•Scheduling all manpower required on projects.
•Reading and understanding drawings and specifications to prepare for and execute on projects.
•Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field staff.
•Developing a detailed project schedule.
•Insuring that projects stay on schedule and all submittals / shop drawings have been reviewed and submitted.
•Assisting Project Managers with extra work orders and back charges.
•Monitor project budgets and expenses.
•Assisting Project Managers with project billing.
•Meeting with project stakeholders as required.
•Working with subcontractors to maintain the job schedule.
•Maintaining superintendent’s project reports, time sheets and associated paperwork on a daily basis.
•Reviewing project invoices from subcontractors and suppliers with Project Manager.
•Scheduling equipment to be used on job site.
•Reviewing individual performance of each employee on your crew on a regular basis and making recommendations for promotion, demotion, termination, or wage adjustment.
•Holding safety meetings and retaining paper work for records.
•Maintaining on-site records of deliveries, accidents, visitors, unforeseen conditions, delays affecting schedule, R.F.I.s, and correspondence with subcontractors and design professionals.
•Keeping detailed records concerning delays due to weather and slow return of requested information from professionals, owners, and subcontractors.
•Reviewing job sites for cleanliness and assisting safety director and inspectors to insure a safe work place.
•Proficiency with using email, MS Office Suite, and CM Software.
•Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including OSHA standards.
•Maintaining quality control of all work performed.
•Collaborate with project managers to address any issues or delays.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
