Position Summary
TheProject Specialistprimary responsibility is to complete various project activities which will improve dealer realization. This role will report directly to the Manager, SalesSupport,and willbe responsible forclosing out tasks assigned.TheProjectSpecialistwill hold accuracy and speed in highregard andwill communicate effectively across various departments.
ESSENTIALJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work assigned queues and document project findings and resolutions per established SOP’s
- Collect project documents, resolve tickets, and call sales representatives asrequiredto ensure project progression
- Answer inbound calls from customers and sales representatives, providing support and resolving inquiries efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and sales representatives, ensuring seamless customer experience.
- Triage projects, create practical solutions,initiateproperactionand follow through
- Build rapport with sales managers, salesadministratorsand sales representatives to improve realization rates
- Advocate for assigned dealership internally
- Learn to answer and action a variety of process and project-specific questions
- Properly escalate design and SOW issues to theappropriate internalteams fortimelyresolution.
- Become familiar with project requirements based on region, utilities, AHJ’s, and finance partners
- Become proficient in LIGHTSPEED, Freedom’s custom-built CRM
- Participate in team meetings, discussions and other activities asrequiredto support the team and improve the quality of the operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of solar sales support experiencerequired - 2+ years of customer service experiencerequired
- Ability to work a rotating schedule- including early mornings, late evenings, holidays,Saturdaysand Sundays arerequired
- Must be able tooperatea computer and other communications equipment (i.e.phone, instant messaging, video conferencing, email, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional and effective manner, both verbally and written
- Develop andmaintaincooperative, effective working relationships with others
- Basic clerical and typing skills.
- Ability to actively listen andcomprehendcallers' requests andassistwith any questions
- Must be able to communicate clearly and in a positive demeanor on the phone
- Ability to multitask
- Computer literate and typing skills of at least 35 words per minute
- Excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, including the ability tomaintaincomposure under stress in a high-level environment
- Maintain tact and professionalism when dealing with difficult/irate people and those in stressful situations
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask on several projects at a time
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
