Job Summary
NAES is seeking a Project Manager to support a multi-site generation data remediation initiative across a fleet of power generation facilities in the Southeast. This role is focused on site-level execution and oversight of documentation and drawing remediation activities, including scheduling, coordination, progress tracking, and quality oversight of deliverables produced by technical writers and field teams. The Project Manager will be embedded at one or more plant sites and will be responsible for managing schedules, tracking budgets, coordinating resources, and ensuring the remediation program stays on track. This is a field-based execution and controls role; scope and priorities are defined by program leadership, and the PM is responsible for driving delivery at the site level.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the site-level Project Manager for generation data and documentation remediation efforts
- Manage project schedules, track budgets, and monitor milestones using appropriate project and asset management tools
- Provide oversight and coordination of technical writers and field teams performing print walkdowns and redlines
- Track progress of documentation updates and ensure deliverables meet quality and schedule expectations
- Coordinate with plant personnel, internal stakeholders, and contractors to support efficient execution
- Facilitate site access, work planning, and sequencing to keep remediation activities moving forward
- Prepare and deliver regular status updates to program leadership
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site safety, environmental, and operational requirements
- Execute direction provided by program leadership; scope and priorities are centrally defined
- Strong working knowledge of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, cost, and execution control
- Proven experience using scheduling, budget tracking, and asset management systems (e.g., P6, MS Project, Maximo, SAP, or similar)
- Experience working in operating power plant or heavy industrial environments where power plant operations is required
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams in an active field setting
- Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or engineering-related education preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within power generation or heavy industrial power plant environments- Experience in combined cycle or thermal generation facilities strongly preferred
- Prior experience supporting documentation, asset management, or remediation programs is a plus
