The Project Manager will execute the project management functions for numerous clients and projects. They will be an experienced manager of self-performance demolition construction projects, have strong client interface and communication competencies, and exemplary contract development, negotiation and management skills.
This position is remote with the ability to travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and motivate members to achieve project objectives.
•Develop detailed project plans and schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
•Create and manage budgets, track labor and equipment costs, and conduct detailed forecasting. Ensure projects remain financially viable by monitoring daily burn rates.
•Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively seeking opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
•Review and manage contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and construction law.
•Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing timely updates and maintaining a sense of urgency.
•Apply a deep understanding of concrete cutting and demolition means and methods to ensure quality and compliance.
•Quickly analyze issues and make sound decisions to maintain project momentum.
•Oversee the adherence to safety standards, design specifications, and quality expectations.
•Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
•Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager or other leadership.

Essential Core Competencies:

•Project Planning and Scheduling - Proficiency in creating detailed project plans, setting timelines, and using scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
•Budgeting and Cost Control - Expertise in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets to ensure financial objectives are met. Tracking labor/equipment budgets vs. Actual. Detailed forecasting ability i.e., Knowing daily burn rate costs, etc.
•Risk Management - Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
•Communication and Stakeholder Engagement - Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders, clients, and team members to ensure alignment and project progress. Having a sense of urgency.
•Problem-Solving and Decision-Making - Proficient in analyzing complex issues and making sound decisions quickly.
•Quality Assurance and Control - Ensuring that construction meets design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
•Time Management and Multitasking - Balancing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively to deliver projects on schedule.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
•5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in concrete cutting and demolition services.
•Experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams on commercial construction projects.
Proficiency in construction software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Procore.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
•Ability to walk job sites when necessary.
•May be required to travel to job sites and other locations.
