Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background utilizing AutoCAD, extensive experience in earth moving projects, underground utility installation understanding, general site preparation, clearing and revegetation. This role requires exceptional time management skills, previous work-related skills, knowledge and experience of described work, and a clear understanding and ability to read, interpret, and ability to generate data required from AutoCAD files and technical specifications for estimation and production in the field. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in estimating, billing project progress, and working with vendors to ensure material is on site timely. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordination of activity of subcontractors used on the projects. The scope of responsibilities will include ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic objectives. The ability to use GPS and Total Station for layout is a plus.
Responsibilities
•Utilize organizational skills to track project progress, manage resources, and report on project status.
•Oversee project engineering efforts, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to quality standards.
•Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns.
•Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies as needed.
•Ensure compliance with organizational systems and standards throughout all phases of the project.
Requirements
· 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager working for a General Contractor doing projects as described on sites.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred. 10 hour OSHA certification is required. 30 hour OSHA certification is preferred. OSHA training can be provided.
•Administrative experience handling construction site work projects and understanding technical specifications.
•Highly proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
•Utilize Excel Spreadsheets to build detailed estimates.
•Proficient in using Microsoft Office software with a high skill level using Excel.
•Proven experience in project management roles.
•Proficiency in using project management software tools for tracking progress and reporting.
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Experience in project coordination across multiple teams or departments.
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
•A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
