At least two plus years of direct project team leadership involving construction and execution in a large complex project totaling over $200MM.

Strong understanding of project controls, change control, and project stewardship and reporting for third parties
Experience with revamps and/or brownfield projects is essential in being successful in this role.
Have a broad experience to integrate the various parts of a large project (permits, design, execution planning, contract planning, procurement processes and working with vendors, construction, cost estimating, commissioning) will be very helpful in being successful in this role
Experience in executing First of a kind (FOAK) projects will be very helpful in this role.
A keen interest in learning, growing and implementing your learning into all aspects of your work
The ability to work independently, but also communicate and involve others as needed.
This role is less about specific degrees or years of experience and more about direct relevant experiences. Candidates that can demonstrate that knowledge and experience will be more successful in this exciting opportunity. This role will be highly dependent on how the candidate can form and lead a team while being able to do many of the direct work tasks needed to make the project successful. Knowing which areas need more oversite and which areas benefit from less owner oversight will help the candidate be more successful in this role.
For candidates willing to work remotely, be able to demonstrate during the interview process how they have been successful in the past in a remote role, or a deep understanding of what they will need to do to be successful in a remote project role.

Your Working Environment

You are willing to work either in hybrid environment in West Texas or are an experienced remote worker willing to travel significantly as and when the job demands it. In all cases you will be expected to visit headquarters, the site, critical package vendors, and contractors when needed and travel to the established project site when needed or to oversee critical work stages and milestones. Infinium doesn’t post a percentage of travel, because the amount of travel varies by the individual, the status of the project, and the current issues and risks of the project that the Execution Manager needs to manage.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned, industry professional who has had exposure to large, complex projects but who thrives in the start-up and entrepreneurial company environment. Essentially, we are looking for the individual who understands the time and place for all the major project management tools and support but who can thrive in the moment of individual execution.

The ideal candidate is someone who has led a project team in a project greater than $100MM dollars from concept to start-up on the Owner’s side with an emphasis on Field Construction. Or a person that was accountable for a smaller project/large vendor packaged unit but has been in a lead or sub-project manager role in a much larger project and whose next opportunity would be Project Manager in a $200MM project. A person who has also had experiences with leaner engineering teams scaling up technology from the demonstration plant phase to the commercial phase would add to the candidates ability to be successful, provided they have the required field experience for construction of a $200MM+ project.

Other good candidates would be Project Managers who have overseen Production System or Refinery Projects involving complex processing equipment of hydrocarbons or someone who has been a Project Manager for larger industrial projects that requires complex interface management, higher pressure or that involves high temperature processing equipment.

Should that person also have some experience in an operating plant environment, that would help them be more successful as they could apply those experiences in this work to create stronger projects.

The ideal candidate is humbly confident in their knowledge and work, able to speak up and advocate for specific decisions in the project, while being flexible enough to internalize the needs and feedback from the project team. The ideal candidate is willing to roll up their sleeves and fill in some of the skill gaps in the team where it is needed and support the team versus delegating everything to a contractor.
