Riggio Valve is a recognized leader in industrial valve repair and field services, supporting clients across the energy, petrochemical, power generation, and manufacturing sectors. We are currently seeking a Project Engineering Coordinator to support project execution and administration, with a clear growth path into project management.
This role is ideal for a technically minded individual with an engineering background who is interested in the organizational and leadership side of field service projects. As a Project Engineering Coordinator, you will support Project Managers by managing client communications, coordinating technical documentation, and streamlining project logistics. You’ll learn the full lifecycle of industrial valve repair and testing projects while building a strong foundation for advancement into a project management role.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and project managers for technical and scheduling updates.
- Assist in reviewing technical work scopes, quotations, and specifications.
- Prepare and manage project documentation such as inspection reports, repair records, and compliance paperwork.
- Coordinate project schedules, technician dispatch, and material logistics.
- Track job status, milestones, and deliverables in project management tools.
- Assist with technical submittals, data books, and quality assurance documentation.
- Support procurement by identifying materials and coordinating with vendors.
- Participate in project kick-off and close-out meetings; document action items and ensure follow-through.
- Ensure proper filing and version control of engineering drawings, procedures, and client correspondence.
- Maintain awareness of applicable codes, standards, and customer-specific requirements (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- 0–2 years of engineering or technical work experience, ideally in a service, repair, or manufacturing environment (internships or co-op experience welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail and ability to work across multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Basic understanding of project management principles and workflows.
- Comfort reading technical drawings, datasheets, or equipment manuals.
- Exposure to valve technology, rotating equipment, or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, or ISO.
- Experience with ERP or project management software, experience with Salesforce would be a big plus.
- Understanding of QA/QC processes in a service environment.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain.

Compensation & Hours: We offer a competitive salary with benefits commensurate with experience. We are only looking for full-time individuals. This is NOT a remote position.
Pay: This is a non-union hourly rate job: $55,000/yr – $75,000/yr based on experience
